i hear the pitter-patter of rain outside my window, and the slow humming of the electric fan in my room.
it's a cool night, and a quiet one too.
even my mind's quiet for a change.
i take a deep breath and savor the moment.
i don't even want to go downstairs and smoke, fearing it might spoil the mood.
