80's flashback

who among you still remember the 80's superband journey?

if you're a fan of steve perry, who sang such hits as foolish heart, then chances are you know this band.

and if you've heard "open arms" sung by mariah carey, then it might interest you to know that hers was just a cover of the journey original.

laugh all you want, but ever since a was just a kid, i've loved this journey song entitled "faithfully".

understand that i hail from olongapo, cradle of the rp rock scene during the 70's and 80's, and journey was one the biggest influences of the "combos" plying the local bar scene.

my elder brothers and cousins were big fans of journey, and by osmosis, i learned to love their songs.

kaya evertime i hear this song, i get transported to those good old days.

(yeah, yeah, the music video sucks, but who cares?? the song's still fantastic!)
