la mesa grill

di po ito product placement...

i was just really, really satisfied with the food in la mesa grille (sa trinoma)

we ate:

2 sisig
1 sinigang na salmon head
1 seafood combo platter
1 ensaladang mangga
7 rice (!!!! apat lang po kami)

super sarap -- my belly was full and my spirit was satisfied

i especially loved the sisig. it was topped with onions and chicharon. it had a smoky, burnt flavor -- alam mong sinugba muna siya bago siya tinadtad. yun nga lang -- parang may kamahalan ang P170 price nito considering its small serving. that aside -- it was really, really yummy.

panalo rin yung sinigang na salmon head. i'm really a sinigang person -- pero kapag fish, i just partake of the soup. pero itong salmon head sinigang nila was really good, walang lansa, tama ang asim, yum!!!

the seafood combo platter was also good. it was a big plated filled with an assortment of grilled fish (bangus belly, and blue marlin yata), grilled shrimp, halaan and tahong -- although i would have wanted the tahong and halaan grilled and not steamed. pero sulit siya for P295.

rapsa talaga, kaya nga ako naka-2 and a half na rice (burp!)
